March 19, 2020 - UPDATE

We are getting the best advice on how to manage your urgent requirements. Obviously it is difficult to sort through the many, many messages on our voicemail. And of course we want to be available to triage your urgent (non-elective) needs expeditiously. If you need to manage clerical, administrative, or non-urgent issues please send via email to Urgent messages can be left on our VoiceMail.

We will attempt to have one or two mornings each week available for urgent care. Once one of the Doctors has spoken with you we will get you on our appointment request list and arrange the day and time. Please be careful and comply with the latest recommendations from the CDC.

March 17, 2020 - UPDATE

As you are certainly aware the current public health crisis is rapidly changing.  Yesterday we significantly modified our clinical protocols and limited most of our efforts to urgent care.   Reluctantly we will have to suspend even those efforts.

As soon as feasible we will resume providing care!  Please call the office (587-7400).  We will return your calls promptly if we are unable to answer.  We are considering opening for urgent care if and when necessary.  You can send messages to for any reason.  That address is monitored all day.

March 15, 2020       Update for our clients, patients, and friends.

We encourage you to keep updated regarding the current recommendations by public health experts and the Centers for Disease Control regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We have carefully reviewed these sources as well as our medical colleagues and specialists in Infectious Diseases.  While we believe we perform appropriate and responsible environmental practices and techniques, there are additional steps that we are implementing effective immediately.

Please inform us if you have traveled internationally in the past two weeks and consider carefully whether your appointment with us is necessary.

A few of the additional precautions we are taking include:

  • All magazines have been removed from the reception area.
  • We are scheduling at less than capacity in order to minimize the number of people in the office as well as minimize or eliminate time in the reception area.
  • Pre-treatment antimicrobial mouth rinse will be provided at each appointment using either hydrogen peroxide or chlorhexidine.
  • We are, of course, continuing the appropriate use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) - gloves, masks (ASTM level 3), and the like.  Even when not necessary.
  • Disinfection of counters, door handles, and other surfaces is being performed frequently.
